Saturday Potluck At Grace Lutheran Church SYRACUSE – Grace Lutheran Church will hold a community Mardi Gras Potluck Celebration Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. featuring beads, Creole food, Kings Cake and jazz. There is no charge to attend this event, just bring friends and family of all ages and an optional dish to share. Last year, Grace held a Hawaiian luau featuring tropical foods and beverages, island music and Hawaiian hula dancers that gave hula lessons to participants ages 1 to 95. The event was a such a success that attendees requested Grace to hold another event in 2012. The Mardi Gras theme was selected for this year because of the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering that will be held this July in New Orleans. Grace is at 203 E. Main St., Syracuse, next to the library. Gospel Sing At Family Worship A gospel sing will be Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. at Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1023 E. Winona Ave., next to Pizza King.
