WABASH – WBCL welcomes everyone’s favorite cooks when they return to the Honeywell Center to perform their holiday special “Away in a Basement - A Church Basement Ladies Christmas” Wednesday at 3 and 7:30 p.m. This comedic musical is sponsored by K & M Floor Covering. The Church Basement Ladies are back featuring the music and the down-to-earth humor audiences have grown to love. Inspired by the books of Janet Letnes Martin and Suzanne Nelson, the performance features four distinct characters and their relationships as they deal with the everyday issues of a rural Minnesota church, while organizing meals and preparing for their Sunday School Christmas program. Tickets are $12, $18 and $25, and may be purchased at the box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling 260-563-1102 or visiting www.honeywellcenter.org
