Editor, Times-Union: At a recent Bible study Richard suggested 80 percent of American Christians no longer attend church. Could that have anything to do with the 20 percent that still do? Investors suggest that if a corporation doesn’t have an offshore outsourcing policy in place they won’t invest. The problem with this morbid sense of entitlement seems to be an equally morbid unemployment rate. I believe church attendance would increase if we ever decided to create jobs and leave them in the territorial borders of America. Give us your poor, tired, huddled masses? Why don’t you think we have enough of our own? I guess if you’re going to insist that the ball be in your court, why would you expect the rest of us to show up and play with you? Hey, God, bless America. Land that I love. Steven Frantz Warsaw
