Christopher L. “Chris” Mignery, 35, of Winona Lake, passed away at 2:57 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at his home.

He was born March 19, 1983, in Leavenworth, Kan., to Mark Louis and Sandra Kay Schmuck Mignery.

He lived most of his life in the Warsaw/Winona Lake area and graduated in 2002 from Warsaw Community High School. He was employed at KGP Logistics in Warsaw as a forklift driver for two years. He formerly worked for Kosciusko Area Bus Service (KABS) as a taxi driver for several years and at Warsaw Engineering & Fabricating Inc. (WEFab) in Warsaw as a welder.  

He attended the Christ Covenant Church in Warsaw, formerly attended the Rock Church in Cromwell and was active in a pool league.

He is survived by a daughter, Caileigh Dayne Mignery; three sons: Carson Lee Mignery, Martelo Juliano Mignery and Torono Jolee Mignery; parents, Mark and Sandra Mignery of Cromwell; paternal grandmother, Meredith Mignery of Cromwell; sister, MaTara Teel Muchowicz of Syracuse; companion, Natena Berry of Warsaw; two nieces and a nephew.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastors Gary and Sarah Tuttle officiating.
