BOURBON – Christopher A. Andrews 48, Bourbon, passed away Sept. 7, 2014, at his residence. He was born Feb. 28, 1966, in Coldwater, Mich., to Thomas and Patricia Copper Andrews. He was a 1984 graduate of Argos High School and had been a resident of California until he moved back to Bourbon to be near his family in 2013. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Desert Storm and Iraq. He was a surgical technician first assistant while serving in the Navy. He had been entrusted with the care of many patients while assisting in surgery. His training continued as he was recently employed at Zimmer in Warsaw. Surviving are his mother, Bourbon; two daughters, Krystian (and spouse Gerald) Johnson, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Aryiss Andrews, Emery, S.D.; a son, Grant Andrews, Emery; two grandchildren, London Grace and Luke; five sisters with whom he was also blessed: Frances (and spouse Lon) Helton, Tippecanoe; Leila Andrews, Bourbon; Sheri Andrews, Battle Creek, Mich.; Julie Hrab, Decatur; Kalina (and spouse Dave) Hoelcher, Niles, Mich.; and his brother, Edward Hrab, Nevada; and most important, his beloved service dog, “Sloane.” He was preceded in death by his father.
