WINONA LAKE - The Christian Performing Artists' Fellowship, sponsors of the MasterWorks Festival, invite the public to its Christmas concert, Christmas on the Lake, Sunday at 7:30 p.m.The performance will take place at Rodeheaver Auditorium, corner of Park Avenue and 9th Street, Winona Lake. Doors open at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
This season always makes for tight funds and even more so in the current economic situation. So this is fellowship's gift to the public and it's available not only this Christmas but throughout the year at the Second Sunday Concert Series. Bring friends and share an evening of classical entertainment and Christmas carols, not to mention cookies and hot chocolate. Take a break from holiday preparations and join the fellowship as it celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ.
Christmas on the Lake will include a Mozart duet on piano and clarinet, the vocal talents of Joy Freschly and Don Bernardini, an adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's "The Little Match Girl" and an audience sing along of Christmas carols.
Cookies and hot chocolate also will be available free of charge thanks to volunteers and Grace College.
