NORTH WEBSTER – Christine A. “Chris” Edwards, 47, South Bend, formerly of North Webster, passed away at 3 p.m. Feb. 9, 2014, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. She was born May 30, 1966, in Anderson, to David C. “Dave” and Barbara E. “Barb” Arford Edwards, who survive in North Webster. She graduated in 1984 from Anderson High School and in 1989 from Purdue in West Lafayette. She grew up in Anderson and formerly lived in North Webster, Indianapolis and Tennessee before moving to Mishawaka 10 years ago from Lafayette. She was employed as a manager at Steak ‘n Shake in Mishawaka for the past four years and formerly worked at Olive Garden in Indianapolis, St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Applebee’s, Mishawaka and Tippecanoe Country Club, Leesburg. She was a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau and a Disney memorabilia fan. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Ellen (and spouse Greg) Wilson, Pendleton, and Joyce Elaine (and spouse Steve) Staub, Fishers; a niece, Sarah (and spouse Nick) Cox; and three nephews, Josh Wilson and Steven and Alec Staub. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Burial will follow in Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
