Christina RitterSYRACUSE – Christina Ritter, 91, of Syracuse, passed away on Dec. 16, 2020, at her home.
She was born on Sept. 7, 1929, in Warsaw, to Paul and Ullah Miller Spry. She was married to Russell Ritter, who preceded her in 1977.
She is survived by her two daughters: Donna (Dave) Beard, of Syracuse; and Kathy (Richard) Vandiepenbos, of Syracuse; seven grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; longtime companion, Jack Alshouse, of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, she was also preceded by her two sons: Glen and Russell; a half sister, Virginia Felts; two half brothers: Paul Spry Jr. and Glen Popenfoos.
Private graveside services will be held at Syracuse cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
