Christenna Haywood EvansChristenna Reffitt Haywood Evans, 79, Warsaw, died at 12:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne.
She was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Emma Hale Reffitt and Rev. Amos Reffitt. On Aug. 28, 1959, she was married to Robert “Bob” Bernard Haywood; he died May 20, 2014. She married Robert “Bob” Bryon Evans Dec. 23, 2016.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Christenna’s life will be celebrated with a funeral at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Terry Bradford. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery.
