BOURBON - Chloe Rowe, 85, of Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw, and formerly of Tippecanoe, died at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 3, 2009.
She was born April 15, 1923, in Allen County, to Bert and Loudema Shock Ferguson. In February 1947, she married Kernie Rowe, who died Feb. 13, 1993.
A Tippecanoe resident since 1977, she formerly worked at Kralis Brothers, Mentone.
Surviving are four sons: William Franklin (and spouse Irene) Hartbarger, Mishawaka; Curtis Hartbarger, Tippecanoe; Kernie (and spouse Karen) Rowe, North Manchester; and James (and spouse Brenda) Rowe, Columbia City; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marjorie Bennett, Syracuse. She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with the Revs. Chad Burkhart and Dennis Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
