Children’s Author Jami McDaniel Stichter read her new children’s book at Heartline Pregnancy Center’s B.A.B.E. Boutique to an audience of children from the Teens N Tots Daycare, as well as to Heartline clients and their children during a book signing event Jan. 3. The event was to introduce children to an author who worked hard to achieve her goals and to show them the importance of reading. Stichter interacted with the children with every page she read. “When You Don’t Clean Your Room” is Stichter’s first children’s book about a young boy who doesn’t clean his room and eventually gets lost in it until emergency personnel are called to rescue him and he promises to always keep his room clean. A new author, Stichter lives in Warsaw with her husband and their two children. Her book is available on Amazon or by contacting her at jamimcdanielstichter@gmail.com The boutique focuses on the needs of pregnant women and their families. This incentive program awards coupons for participation in various community, medical, social and educational services. These coupons can be used on infant clothing, furnishings and miscellaneous items at the B.A.B.E. Boutique, located in the K21 Health Services Pavilion under Heartline Pregnancy Center Inc.
