'Children Of Eden' Take The Stage At NorthWood

NAPPANEE - The Bible will come alive with NorthWood High School's spring musical production of "The Children of Eden."Based on the first 9-1/2 chapters of the Book of Genesis, "Children of Eden" features songs written by Stephen Schwartz, including "Let There Be," "Children of Eden," "Generations," "A Piece of Eight" and "In the Beginning."

Act I begins with storytellers describing the creation of the world. Father then creates Adam and Eve to live in the Garden of Eden. Throughout Act I, Adam and Eve get expelled from the Garden, must live in the Wasteland and deal with their son Cain murdering their son Abel.

Act II depicts the lives of Noah and his family. Noah's son, Japheth, chooses to marry Yonah, who bares the mark of Cain. Father wants to destroy the race of Cain, so he decides to make it rain. This brings about the flood.

This cast of 31 members will be led by feature actors and actresses, including Luke Fattorusso, Ashlea Romano, Josiah Telschow, Tyler Strycker, Wes Kirkwood, Viviane Schmidt, Tyler Phillips, Angela Miller and Thomas Reid.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the NorthWood High School auditorium.
