Child Molest Trial Begins Today

Posted

A three-day trial began today for Larry F. Anglin, 60, of 2441 W. CR 250S, Lot 114, Warsaw, in Kosciusko Circuit Court. Anglin is accused of child molestation.

Anglin has five Class A and two Class C felony charges against him. If convicted, he could face up to 290 years in prison, up to 50 years for each Class A felony charge and up to 20 years for each Class C felony charge.

Under Indiana law, child molestation is generally a class B or C felony, but if accompanied by the use or threat of force, if the crime results in bodily injury, if the child is drugged or if the assailant is older than 21 it is a Class A felony.

Prosecuting the case is Kosciusko County deputy prosecutor Christanne C. Hampton. Anglin is represented by Warsaw attorney Jay A. Rigdon.

Michael D. Cook, Marshall County Circuit Court, is the special judge assigned to this case.
