GOSHEN — Cheryl L. Lambert, 53, Elkhart, died Thursday, July 5, 2018, at home after a year-and-a-half battle with metastasized uterine cancer.
She was born July 31, 1964, in Goshen, to Larry Wayne and Dorothy A. Shephard Lambert. They preceded her in death.
Cheryl is survived by her domestic partner of 15 years, Amy Goodman; their four-legged “children”: Katie, Petey, Charlie and Tinsel; and Amy’s parents, Chester and Janet Goodman, Pierceton.
She worked for Sunshine Caterers for 20-plus years and Frito Lay for 11 years. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed bowling for over 30 years and playing fast-pitch softball.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
Cremation will follow the visitation. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, at a later date.
