COLUMBIA CITY – Cheryl A. Druley, 47, Columbia City, passed away at 3:41 p.m. Sept. 26, 2013, in Parkview Whitley Hospital, after becoming suddenly ill at her residence.
She was born Aug. 21, 1966, in Fort Wayne, to Lloyd Owen and Jayne Fry Druley.
She was a graduate of Columbia City High School with the Class of 1984, and she attended IPFW, Parkview Nursing School and lastly Ivy Tech, Warsaw. She spent most of her lifetime in Columbia City; however, she did live in Texas, Germany and Warsaw. She was formerly employed with Medtronics and Lake City Enterprises, both in Warsaw. She was a member of Calvary Temple and a former member of Towns of Harmony Sweet Adelines.
Survivors include her mother, Jayne Druley, Columbia City, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Druley, in 1994 and all of her grandparents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with Pastor Marilyn Gebert officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City.
Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
