ROANOKE – Charles W. Tennant, 86, Roanoke, died at 10:25 p.m. Feb. 1, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Aug. 20, 1928, in Kosciusko County, to Robert Dale and Edith Esther Grindle Tennant. On Dec. 3, 1955, he married Susan L. Bowman, who survives in Roanoke. He served in the U.S. Army. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Roanoke Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Tarr officiating. Burial is in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. Calling is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
