NORTH MANCHESTER – Charles W. Betten, 88, North Manchester, died at 12:25 a.m. July 15, 2016, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born March 24, 1928, in Gridley, Ill., to Charlie and Nora Finck Betten. On Aug. 27, 1950, he married Janice Shaffer, who died Aug. 1, 2006. He was a World War II veteran. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery, Servia, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating.
