FORT WAYNE – Charles Ross “Chad” Briner, 27, Fort Wayne, died April 8, 2014, in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born April 18, 1986, to Chris and Lisa Smith Briner. He graduated from Manchester High School, North Manchester, where he was active in music activities. He worked for Triode Electronics, building and repairing amplifiers. He was active in the Fort Wayne music scene and played in the band The Dead Records. He is survived by a significant other, Alyssa Augustyniak, Fort Wayne; his mother, Lisa (and spouse Brian) Kilmer, Celina, Ohio; and a sister, Lauren (and spouse Garrett) Byma, Philadelphia, Pa. He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Midwest Funeral Home, 4602 Newaygo Road, Fort Wayne.
