Charles Richard ThomasNORTH MANCHESTER – Charles Richard Thomas, 93, died at 5:47 p.m. July 8, 2019, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. He was born Nov. 1, 1925, in Selma, Ind., to Jonathan Ora and Kessie Ealy Thomas.
Charles was in the U.S. Navy and served in WWII.
He married Loretta May Curtis. She died Sept. 26, 1993. Charles married Geraldine M. “Gerri” Gidley on Oct. 28, 1995. She died Aug. 18, 2014.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 11, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru.
