ROCHESTER — Charles Richard Ross, 80, Rochester, died at 8:18 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018, at his residence.
Charles was born Dec. 9, 1937, in Griffith, to Charles J. and Mabel Wilkerson Ross. On July 9, 1979, he married Martha Edna Johns in Marcum, Ill. She survives.
He served with the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1959.
A celebration of Charles’ life will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Gospel Lighthouse, 5823 Center St., Delong.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday in the church.
Interment will be in the Leiters Ford Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Air Force Honors Team.
