Charles “Chuck” "Chuckles” Leroy Leiter, 53, Warsaw, will be deeply missed and is now in the care of Jesus Christ as of 3:15 p.m. June 10, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. He was surrounded by his loving family and his adoring wife. He was born Aug. 27, 1962, in Whitley County, to Judy Melick Schmidt and Tony Camacho. His adoptive parents were Richard and Josephine Leiter. On Aug. 26, 2010, he married June George Leiter, who survives in Warsaw. He graduated with honors from Warsaw Community High School in 1981. He was a successful salesman and businessman known for his faithfulness, integrity and commitment to meeting the needs of his customers in sales of office equipment and various other sales positions. He excelled at whatever he did. He had a heart for those in need and encouraged many people with wit, truth and love. He also was an avid football enthusiast, believed in America and democracy, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and gardening. He was totally devoted to tenderly loving and enjoying his wife. His love walk with Jesus empowered him to be a true conquerer and picture of God’s love. Also surviving are his father, Antonio Camacho; three stepchildren: Nathan and Curtis George, Megan (and spouse Garrett) Zorn; two grandchildren: Taylee and Isaac Zorn, his pride and joy. He had many siblings: Antonio Camacho Jr., Tonya Camacho, Thomas Leiter, the late Edward Leiter, Terry Leiter, Ruth (and her husband Jim) Guffy and Carl Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his his mother and adoptive parents. Services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at New Life Christian Church and World Outreach, 744 S. 325E, Warsaw, officiating by Steve Slabach. Burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
