Charles H. KoontzCharles H. Koontz, 91, Winona Lake, died at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.
Charles was born in Masontown, Pa., on June 22, 1930, to Herman W. and Myra S. Koontz. On April 13, 1957, he married Alice E. Snider in Pennsylvania.
A private graveside service will be Tuesday, Dec. 28 with Pastor Bruce Barlow officiating. Charles’ life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4 at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, and officiated by Pastor Kip Cone. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 2 to 4 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
