MENTONE - Charles Edward Nottingham, 82, of Fairbanks, Alaska, and formerly of Mentone, died Aug. 6, 2010.
He was born May 10, 1928, in Wadsworth, Ohio, to Harl and Gladys Clay Nottingham. He married Juanita Bean, who survives.
Living in Fairbanks for 58 years, he worked in construction and served in the U.S. Marine Corp, U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Also surviving are a sister, Dorothy (and spouse Tobie) Blalock, Mentone. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at noon Saturday at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
