Charles 'Bob' Robert Teeple

Charles Robert “Bob” Teeple, 89, of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord at 2:20 p.m. Nov. 6, 2012, in his residence.
He was born March 31, 1923, in Kosciusko County, to Lester Isaac and Lunettie Olive Lippincott Teeple. On June 10, 1945, he married Mary Ann Spicher McCartney, who died April 14, 2009.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he attended and was one of the founding members of Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego. He was a 1941 graduate of Leesburg High School, after which he went on to serve in the U.S. Army during World War II as a staff sergeant from 1943 until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was a farmer, worked at the feed mill and was a loan officer for 12 years at Peoples State Bank (also known as First National Bank), Leesburg.
He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Sara (and spouse Tom) Maze, Warsaw, and Barb (and spouse Stan) Zachary, Green Valley, Ariz.; two sons, Rod (and spouse Pat) Teeple, Leesburg, and Jerry Teeple, Wooster, Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne (and spouse Gwendolyn) Teeple, Winona Lake; and his special friend, Jane Jontz, Winona Lake. He also was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and an infant daughter, Nancy Sue Teeple, who died shortly after birth.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego, officiated by Pastors Kirk Barger and Rick Smith and assisted by Pastor Jack Teeple. Burial will be Oswego Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
