SYRACUSE - Charlene M. Stump, 73, of Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Syracuse, died at 2 p.m. Dec. 2, 2010, in Sarasota.
She was born Oct. 5, 1937, in Goshen, to Leonard and Mosclene Wogoman Stump.
She graduated from Syracuse High School in 1955, and from nursing school in Indianapolis. She formerly worked at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, after college. She moved to Florida many years ago where she retired from nursing. She was a member of United Methodist Church and formerly attended Calvary United Methodist Church when she lived in Syracuse.
Surviving are her mother, Mosclene Stump, Syracuse; and a sister, Nancy (and spouse Sanford) Mullett, Sarasota. She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with the Rev. David Herr officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
