Trees lining Wyland Pond in Tri-County Fish and Wildlife Area are showing fall colors as evidenced by this photograph taken this morning. In general, fall color will be running a little ahead of schedule because of dry conditions. Colors also are expected to be less vivid than normal. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
