Changes To Voting Locations AnnouncedAnn Torpy, Kosciusko Clerk of Circuit and Superior Courts, announced on Wednesday the polling location changes for the June 2 primary.
She also reminded voters that absentee mail out applications need to be in her office before midnight on May 21. They can be faxed at 574-372-2338; emailed to absentee@kcgov.com or applied for online at www.indianavoters.com.
Early in-person voting in the County Justice Building begins May 26-29 during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; May 30 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and June 1 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The polling location changes include:
• Clay Township formerly voted at the Claypool Lion’s Building, but will now vote at Claypool Elementary School.
• Franklin Township formerly voted at the Bell Memorial Library, but will now vote at the Mentone Fire Station.
• Jackson Township formerly voted at Amazing Grace Church, but will now vote at Pierceton Elementary School.
• Lake Township formerly voted at the Town Hall, but will now vote at Claypool Elementary School.
• Monroe Township formerly voted at Amazing Grace Church, but will now vote at Pierceton Elementary School.
• Plain Township Precinct 1 formerly voted at Leesburg Grace Brethren Church, but will now vote at the Leesburg Lion’s Building.
• Plain Township Precincts 3, 4, 5 and 7 formerly voted at the Living Hope Ministries, but will now vote at Madison Elementary School.
• Turkey Creek 3 formerly voted at the St. Andrew’s Church, but will now vote at the Syracuse Community Center.
• Washington Township formerly voted at the Pierceton Community Center, but will now vote at Pierceton Elementary School.
• Wayne Township Precinct 1 formerly voted at Grace Village, but will now vote at Christ’s Covenant Church.
• Wayne Township Precincts 2 and 4 formerly voted at the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, but will now vote at Jefferson Elementary School.
• Wayne Township Precincts 3 and 10 formerly voted at the Winona Lake Senior Center, but will now vote at Jefferson Elementary School.
• Wayne Township Precinct 8 formerly voted at Miller’s Merry Manor, but will now vote at First Christian Church.
• Wayne Township Precinct 9 formerly voted at Walnut Creek Church, but will now vote at First Christian Church.
• Ward 1 Precincts 1 and 4 formerly voted at the Community Life Center, but will now vote at Harrison Elementary School.
• Ward 1 Precinct 2 formerly voted at the Oakwood Cemetery, but will now vote at Harrison Elementary School.
• Ward 4 Precinct 1 formerly voted at St. Anne’s Church, but will now vote at the Center Lake Pavilion.
• Ward 4 Precinct 2 formerly voted at the County Annex Building, but will now vote at the Center Lake Pavilion.
• Ward 4 Precinct 3 formerly voted at the Masonic Lodge, but will now vote at the Center Lake Pavilion.
