Chane Richard Funnell of Warsaw passed away at 10:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw at the age of 76.
He was born Feb. 2, 1942, in Warsaw, to Howard Kenneth Funnell and Doiles E. Rookstool Funnell.
Chane was a lifetime area resident and a 1960 graduate of Warsaw High School. He was a grain farmer and worked at a number of businesses in Kosciusko County. Lastly, he worked at Dennis Polk Equipment in Leesburg.
He will be lovingly remembered by his companion, Dee Gaylord, Warsaw; two sons, Clint Funnell, Kentucky, and Jack Funnell, Pierceton; two daughters, Angie Reid, Fort Wayne, and Bev (Randy) Weaver, Shelbyville; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
A private graveside service is planned at their family plot at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
