Posted

Nominations are being accepted by the Greater Warsaw Area

Chamber of Commerce for the Athena Award in Kosciusko County. The award, which will be presented at the Chamber's annual dinner on Jan. 22, will honor an individual who has achieved excellence in business, has served the community in a meaningful way and has helped women reach their full leadership potential.

Begun in Michigan in 1982, the Athena Program is summarized in a quotation from Plato: "What is honored in a country will be cultivated there." By honoring exceptional leaders, the award encourages others to excel.

Nomination forms may be obtained from the Greater Warsaw Area Chamber of Commerce or from the award's co-sponsor, Petro Oldsmobile-Cadillac Inc. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 10.
