Chamber Teams With Schools, Businesses For Education Summit

For the 14th year, local businesses, school corporations and the Education Committee of the Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce team up to present Education Summit XIV, "Building a Better Community - Uniting Culture Through Education."
The Summit will be held Nov. 20 from 7 to 10:30 a.m. at Lakeland Christian Academy, 1093 S. CR 250E, Winona Lake. The Education Summit is open to the public and admission is free of charge. Registration is required in advance by calling the Chamber at 574-267-6311.
The keynote speaker will be Juana Watson, senior advisor for Latino Affairs in the Office of the Governor, State of Indiana. Each of five school corporations from Kosciusko County, along with business and community leaders, will be highlighting their diversity programs and initiatives.If you are interested in what's happening with education and the interaction of business and schools in Kosciusko County, you will want to call the Chamber for a reservation and put this event on your calendar.
