The Annual Chamber Golf Outing has been a traditional summer activity and fundraiser for the Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce for many years. It’s a time for community leaders to network and have a good time together over a game of golf. This year the outing was held at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club on July 20.
There is another tradition emerging from the Annual Chamber Golf Outing as well. For the last two years, the Chamber has made a donation to Combined Community Service for their Tools for Schools program from money collected at the golf outing. Being an avid golfer, Chamber president Mark Dobson has collected a voluntary donation to hit a ball for a player in lieu of their shot to possibly get a better score. In doing so, this year he collected $666 for the Tools for Schools program.
