Warsaw-Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce and Kosciusko Community Hospital has scheduled a legislative breakfast and meet-the-candidate event.
The primary is May 4 and the general election is Nov. 2.The Government Issues Committee of the Warsaw-Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce, along with KCH, will host a legislative meeting Feb. 19 from 7:30 to 9 a.m., according to Trina Hoy, Warsaw-Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce communications director.
It will be at the Wellness Center, 1500 Provident Drive, Warsaw.
State Senators Marlin Stutzman, Ryan Mishler, Gary Dillon and Randy Head will speak. State Representatives Dave Wolkins, Bill Ruppel and Bill Friend have been invited to attend.
The format for the meeting will be a panel of state legislators who will answer questions.
The event is free to attend and breakfast will be provided by KCH. The public is welcome to attend, but reservations are required by Feb. 17 by e-mailing info@wkchamber.com or by calling the chamber at 574-267-6311.
The Government Issues Committee and KCH will host a Meet The Candidate event April 16 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Center Lake Pavilion, 119 E. Canal St., Warsaw.
Every candidate who will be on the primary ballot will be invited to speak for a few minutes at the public forum.
The event is free to attend and a light breakfast will be provided. The public is encouraged to attend.
