The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ground breaking recently for a new car wash that will be built off of Husky Trail across from Martin’s Super Market.
Construction was set to begin Monday and anticipated to be completed by the end of this year.
According to a press release from the chamber, the car wash is owned by a group of local investors. Brian Catron, investor, will represent the company as president and CEO. Jordan Gillette has been hired as the operations manager. Robinson Construction was hired to do the construction of the car wash.
The new car wash should bring 10 to 15 new jobs to the community. It is a state-of-the-art, 150-foot tunnel wash with the ability to wash 150 cars per hour, according to the release. There will be 16 vacuum bays.
