NORTH MANCHESTER - The North Manchester Chamber of Commerce invites its members, community leaders and area citizens to experience "Pirateology," as part of the 66th Annual Chamber Dinner set for Jan. 28 at the Manchester College Union. Plans are in progress for the evening's festivities, which opens with a 6 p.m. social hour, catered banquet at 7 p.m., followed by the dinner program.
The schedule of events for the night includes the passing of the gavel from 2009 Board Chair Todd Lybarger to 2010 Chair Sue Chapman-Roesner, as well as the annual awards presentation to the Business and Citizen of the Year and other awards.
During the social hour, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with attendees, snack on hors d'oeuvres (fruit skewers, hush puppy, fried shrimp and clam basket), and see the fine collection of artwork currently being displayed in Gallery G of local award winning artist Penny French-Deal. Among Deal's many awards was her recent selection for the 2008 Celebrating Hoosier Women Artists Award.
