Heartwood Planning Group exists for “helping clients navigate life.”
That’s according to one of its partners and Private Wealth advisor Kyle Wurtzel.
On Wednesday, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon-cutting for the Warsaw location of Heartwood, a firm of Northwestern Mutual Private Client Group, with the financial services business just joining the chamber.
Heartwood has “been here serving the Kosciusko community for 21 years,” said Wurtzel, with the business being at 119 E. Center St., Suite B3, since 2009.
Heartwood has other locations in Fort Wayne, Marion and Peru, with 18 team members among all of them.
It serves both individuals and companies, said Wurtzel.
“We work with a lot of small business owners, work a lot in the agriculture industry and then (with) pre- and retirees … insurance planning from life insurance, disability insurance to long-term care life insurance,” he said. “We focus on financial planning and help clients with investment savings.”
