Oakwood Cemetery Board of Regents Thursday reviewed a year-end burial report for 2008.
There were 183 burials in 2008 with 77 city resident burials and 106 non-city residents.
For ages infant to 10 years old, there were 11 burials; ages 11-20, one burial; ages 21-30, five burials; ages 31-40, four burials; ages 41-50, five burials; ages 51-60, 14 burials; ages 61-70, 35 burials; ages 71-80, 37 burials; ages 81-90, 51 burials; and ages 91 to 100, 20 burials.
There were two burial lots sold in December and one burial deed was signed during the meeting.
Cemetery Sexton Hal Heagy said a new gate has been installed at the front of the cemetery that has reflector tape.
The board will meet again at 5 p.m. Feb. 2 at the cemetery office.
