The Cemetery Board decided Thursday evening on the colors for the outside of the new chapel being built in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The building will be taupe with white posts.
Also discussed was a request to put an angel statue in place of a headstone on a grave.
President Warren Tatter said the statue doesn't meet with the rules and regulations of the board.
Board member Bob Sandy worried about the permanence of the statue. Because it's made of plastic it won't be very durable in the cemetery, he said.
The board disapproved the statue because of its lack of durability.
Members of the cemetery board include: president Warren Tatter, Bob Sandy, Ellen Hoffer, Lewis Dobbins, Sexton David Shaw and Trish Brown.
