William and Lora Whitaker are celebrating their  50th wedding anniversary.

William and Lora were married on Oct. 6, 1967, in Clintwood, Va., by the Rev. Harry Hires. After 50 years, they are going stronger than ever and have a love for God, each other and their family that is unconditional.

They are loved dearly by their children: Terry (Carrie) Whitaker, Deb (JR) Pennington and Scott (Alicia) Whitaker; and their grandchildren: Lori Pennington, Mason Whitaker, Jocelyn Whitaker and Addison Whitaker.

William and Lora have committed most of their 50 years together serving in the ministry. They are pastoring Warsaw Family Worship Center, which they pioneered in 2011. They have been committed to the community and have helped many in need.

Their children invite all friends and family to join in the celebration of William and Lora's golden anniversary from 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 12 at the newly constructed WFWC fellowship  hall, 1250 Husky Trail, Warsaw.
