Cedric J. Davis, 47, passed away at 4:46 p.m. Nov. 12, 2015, in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. He was born June 19, 1968, in Shreveport, La., to W.C. and Betty Durrant Norris. On June 12, 1993, in Warsaw, he married Nicole, who survives in Warsaw. He was a 1986 graduate of Green Oaks High School, Shreveport. He lived in Warsaw. He worked in the core room at Dalton Foundry for 19 years. Also surviving are his mother, Betty Davis, Shreveport; a sister, Mira (and spouse Gregory) Walton, Shreveport; his mother-in-law, Beverly Davis; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, W.C. Norris, and a brother, Clifford Durrant. Services will be at noon Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Ron Patrick, New Beginning Church and World Outreach, Warsaw, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
