MILFORD - Cecelia Jones, 90, of Milford, and formerly of Homosassa, Fla., died Feb. 10, 2010, in Lakeland Rehab & Healthcare, Milford.
She was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to William and Annie Mae Carrico Clark. On July 17, 1945, she married Elmo Jones, who died March 22, 2000.
She lived in Anderson for 30 years and Florida for 15 years, where she was a member of Indiana Club, Spring Hill, Fla. She was a telephone operator in Poplar Bluff, and Weiler's Department Store, Anderson.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer (and spouse Robert) Seet, Niveneh, and Jo Anne (and spouse Ted) Shelby, Deming, N.M.; two sons, Clark (and spouse Judy) Jones, Milford, and Kent Jones, St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Poplar Bluff, with Father David Coon officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Poplar Bluff.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 26 at Cotrell Funeral Home, Poplar Bluff, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, is in charge of local arrangements.
