Caucus Scheduled To Replace John Boal

WINONA LAKE - With the resignation of Winona Lake Town councilman John Boal effective Nov. 30, a caucus is scheduled for Dec. 16 to replace him.

According to Kosciusko County Republican Party Chairman Mike Gavin, the caucus will be at 7 p.m. at the Winona Lake town hall, town council chambers, 1310 Park Ave., Winona Lake.

Any person interested in the position must be a Republican in Winona Lake District 1.

Declaration of candidacy forms are at the Kosciusko County clerk's office, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw. The forms must be filed with Gavin 72 hours prior to the caucus and can be mailed to Gavin's address at 85 S. Hunter's Ridge, Warsaw, IN 46582.

Boal's term expires in 2006. Boal resigned from the town council after moving out of the district.
