NORTH WEBSTER- A caucus of eligible Republican precinct committeemen will be Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Tippecanoe Township Trustee's office, 503 W. Washington St., North Webster.
The caucus is for the purpose of filling the vacancy (remainder of the unexpired term) of Tippecanoe Township Advisory Board member Richard “Dick” Mitchell, who has submitted his resignation, effective Saturday.
Interested eligible candidates for the position of Tippecanoe Township Advisory Board must file a Declaration of Candidacy with Kosciusko County Republican Chairman Randall Girod no later than 72 hours before the commencement of the caucus.
Declaration of Candidacy forms are available from the Kosciusko County Clerk's office, 121 N. Lake St.
