Catherine A. Hatten, 56, of Warsaw, died at 8:21 p.m. May 18, 2011, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born Jan. 22, 1955, in Mishawaka, to John Scott Sr. and Anne Mae Weinkauff Maggert. She married Robert Hatten Jr., who survives in Warsaw. She worked at Lucky Steer, Richards Restaurant and Big Lots. She was a member of AARP and was a volunteer at the Senior Opportunity Center, Warsaw. Also surviving are two sons, Robert Hatten III, South Bend, and Chris Hatten, Warsaw; a daughter, Jennifer Hatten, Elkhart; four sisters: Mary Lou Miller, Three Rivers, Mich.; Helen (and spouse Bruce) Raymond, Mishawaka; Sharon Hunter, Georgia; and Joanne Flowers, Indiana; a brother, John S. Maggert Jr., Mishawaka; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Gary Boschain of First Christian Church, Warsaw.
