Court Appointed Special Advocates of Kosciusko County will hold volunteer training beginning Tuesday.
A CASA volunteer is the one consistent adult in an abused or neglected child’s life.
Volunteers get to know a child by talking with everyone in that child’s life, such as parents, foster parents, teachers and social workers. They use the information they gather to inform judges and others of the child’s needs and what would be the best permanent home for the child.
Training is from Sept. 11 through Oct. 4. To apply, visit www.casachildren.com or call 574-372-2401.
