CASA Of Kosciusko County Needs Community’s Support To Raise 30K In 30 Days

Posted
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Kosciusko County has set out to raise $30,000 in 30 days in celebration of their 30th anniversary.

The campaign began at the beginning of June and has since raised almost $6,000. With a grant from Kosciusko County Community Foundation and other donors, up to $15,000 of donations made to CASA of Kosciusko County in June will be matched. CASA of Kosciusko County is reaching out to the community for support in this endeavor, according to a news release of CASA of Kosciusko County.

“We know this is a hard time for many in our community, but we have been blessed with an amazing opportunity to have the funds we raise in June be matched dollar for dollar up to $15,000! The funds we receive in June will allow us to train and support more CASA volunteers to be the voice and advocate for abused and neglected children and allow us to obtain more engagement tools our volunteers can use when meeting monthly with their CASA children,” said  Erin Rowland Jones, executive director.

CASA of Kosciusko County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children who are entangled in the Kosciusko County court system by recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates.
