Court Appointed Special Advocates of Kosciusko County’s 12th Annual Holiday Festival fundraiser will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Biomet Hangar, Warsaw airport. Nearly 500 guests are expected to attend the event – themed “Color a child’s world with a brighter tomorrow” – and more than 20 food, wine and beer tasting stations will be stocked with donations from local vendors. The event will also include a silent and live auction, raffle prizes and live entertainment by Big Daddy Dupree and the Broke & Hungry Blues Band. Reservations are also available for a “Young at Heart” experience – a limited VIP area for guests to enjoy upscale food tastings and youth-inspired activities. This year’s Holiday Festival is expected to raise over $100,000 to be used to help local children in need of services. Support at this year’s event will enable CASA to continue training volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children and allow for the necessary tools needed for future volunteer recruitment and ongoing supervision.
