CLAYPOOL – Carolyn Sue Hartman, 78, of Claypool, passed away at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at her home. She was born on January 28, 1939, in Kosciusko County, to Everett and Frances Brown Warren. She attended Burket Public Schools and lived most of her life in Burket and Warsaw area before moving to Claypool five years ago. She was formerly employed as a nurse’s aide at Murphy Medical Center, Korth Furniture Factory, and Owens-Illinois / Kimball Glass, all in Warsaw. She was a former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Moose Lodge, all of Warsaw. She is survived by two sons, Jack “Bub” (Cookie) Hartman, Claypool, and Jimmy Hartman, Warsaw; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Everett Warren, Mentone. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Mickey. A private family gathering will be held.
