Carolyn S. Farner, 76, Warsaw, passed away at 6:07 p.m. Feb. 23, 2015, at her daughter’s residence.
She was born Dec. 2, 1938, in Warsaw, to Charles and Mary Cook Adams. On June 21, 1958, in Michigan, she married Stephen A. Farner, who preceded her in death.
She lived in Warsaw most of her life. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who always put others before herself.
Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie (and spouse Randy) Schmucker, Warsaw, and Angela Hansen, Schaumburg, Ill.; a son, James (and spouse Debbie) Farner, Tuscumbia, Ala.; one brother, Dick Adams, Mexico, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Bryan Koorey or Nick Stanton officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
