NORTH MANCHESTER – Carolyn Reahard, 88, of North Manchester, died at 9:08 p.m. July 31, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Dec. 2, 1924, in North Manchester, to Darley R. and Marie Heeter Seitner. On March 10, 1945, she married Thomas Rex Reahard, who died April 8, 2000. She graduated from Central High School, North Manchester, in 1942, and attended Manchester College. She worked in the office of Warner Brooder, North Manchester, from 1943-46, and later in the office of Peabody Seating Co., North Manchester, from 1954 until retirement in 1984. She was a member of North Manchester United Methodist Church and a member and past president of the Faith Circle. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Mary Reahard, North Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Thomas Reahard,who died in 1998, and a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at United Methodist Church, 306 E. Second St., North Manchester, with the Rev. Bill Hemming and Pastor Mark Eastway officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
