Carolyn Ann Lightle NelsonCarolyn Ann Herring Lightle Nelson, 78, Warsaw, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born Nov. 23, 1943, in Blackford County Hospital, Hartford City, to Paul Gerald Herring and Minnie Furman Herring of Montpelier. She married Neldon M. Lightle in August 1962 and they later divorced. In June 1978, she married Sherman Otto Nelson, they too divorced.
Carolyn’s life will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at Warsaw Family Worship Center, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor William Whitaker and Pastor Glenn Hall. Friends and family may visit prior to the service at the church from noon to 3 p.m. A private graveside service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
